Continuing the snacking trend on my blog – I think i might make this a bit of a series 🙂 – If you haven’t seen any of my other snack post you can check them out here, here & here! If you can’t tell already, I am a big snacker with a little bit of sweet tooth and love to find healthier alternatives to those little treats.
As per the title today I am going to show you guys some AMAZING healthier alternatives to chocolate chip cookies! Now I can’t take credit for this recipe – I found it via Katie’s blog – who is honestly the queen of healthy alternative desserts!
But ONTO the COOKIES!!!!
You will need:
-1/3 & 1/4 cup oat flour
-1/8 tsp salt
-1/4 tsp baking soda
-dark chocolate chips (however much you like!)
– 2 Tbs Brown sugar
-1/2 tsp vanilla essence
– 1 Tbsp melted coconut oil (other vegetable) or melted margarine
– 1-3 Tbsp of Milk of your choice
(I like to double the recipe for this amount of cookies)
Combine all dry ingredients and then add in wet ingredients and mix only until all damp.
Grab little sections and roll into little balls and flatten onto a greased baking tray.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius
Bake for 7 minutes and remove from oven – they will still look a little under cooked but thats okay!!!
Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes and ENJOY!!!
These are honestly so yummy and definitely don’t taste healthy!
