Festive Makeup with Minimal Effort

The season for holiday parties has begun, so now instead of chilling at home on the couch watching a movie, we have to get up, put some makeup on and look somewhat presentable.

Todays post is going to be my top tips on how to make your makeup look festive with as minimal effort as possible.

The Festive Red Lip:
A true christmas classic, this will jazz up ANY look and make it look put together, with pretty minimal effort. You can even mix it up by using different shade of red for different parties – no-one will even know the difference and you will look super put together!

A Golden Eye:
Nothing says christmas makeup  better then a gold eye look, if you want to put in a little more effort or if it is for a night time event, maybe smoke it out a little with some bronze in the outer corner and a smudgey eyeliner, but really this is super easy and simple – especially if you’re like me and have gold cream shadows. One product WIN

Flawless foundation:
Choose your favourite full coverage foundation, whether it be glowy (which is my preferred look) or matte, and apply it with a damp sponge. This will give you the perfect base for any makeup you do put on top of it, will help it last all day and will give it a more “natural” finish. Which basically results in looking like we didn’t put in effort too much effort but we are just naturally super flawless but in reality we are hiding a multitude of sins by NOT actually putting in effort! WIN!

And there you have it folks.

Not only will you look like you put in effort and look super put together, but you will have done it with minimal effort!

Whats your top tip for christmas party makeup?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Love Always
