T’was the night before Christmas

Firstly I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, I hope your day was filled with love and joy and happiness no matter what you got up to on the day 🙂

I wanted to share with you my outfit and makeup for christmas eve. As per usual I spent the night before christmas with my husband and his lovely family. We usually do dinner with my parents and his family as at my in laws as a Christmas eve tradition, and we spend Christmas day with my family with my in laws.

This year I went for this beautiful embroidered dress in this rust orange colour from H&M, it has a lovely floral cut out top and bottom and is honestly so beautiful. I paired this with some gold and tan heels and a black and silver belt.

For my makeup I left it glowy on the base and neutral on the lips and cheeks and did a bold cut crease red smokey eye. I had never done a cut crease and think it turned out reasonably well considering it was my first attempt. I really wanted the eyes to be the focal point of the makeup and wanted it to stand out.

We had a lovely night of dinner and present and lots of catching up before a family filled day of eating and merriment.
